The 12th hole

The 12th hole

Work over the winter months on the changes to the 12th hole is progressing well as you can see from the recent picture of the new ditch.

The Fescue turf has been laid and pinned to the far side of the ditch. The drainage outlets from existing drainage systems in the 12th fairway have been inserted into a new inspection chamber which is now connected to a newly installed pipe into the new ditch. The Rye grass turf has been laid to the near side banking and work on the old bunkers are close to completion. The area of the existing cross bunkers has been landscaped and will be turfed shortly.

Work on the new bunkers will progress over the next few months and we will continue to post updates in the News section.
