Hole Sixteen
Par 4,360 Yards
A straightforward drive over the brow of a hill and avoiding three short fairway bunkers on the right will set up the wonderful approach to this famous Dr Alister MacKenzie green. At only 360 yards downhill the green can sometimes be drivable for longer hitters but, more often than not, the prevailing wind results in a very tricky second shot to a long narrow green. The putting surface sits on top of an old sandstone quarry and is divided into four sections which makes for some fantastic pin positions.
