Regarded by many as Headingley’s signature hole this downhill Dr Alister MacKenzie short holes sits perfectly in the shelter of this picturesque hillside. With five bunkers and the unmanaged surroundings to contend with, the only safe place is the middle of the green which can be located by running the ball in from the left. Three-time Open champion Henry Cotton described it as one of the best short holes he had ever played.
